Fergie will rock the hottest New Years party celebration in Hollywood as part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2007, airing Sunday, December 31 on the ABC Television Network. In addition to hosting the party, Fergie will perform and introduce performances by Natasha Bedingfield, Meat Loaf and Latin music phenomenon RBD. For the 35th consecutive year the show will lead America into the New Year, as Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest host three specials from New York. In all there will be three and a half hours of special New Years programming:

The past year has been one of continued success for Fergie as a solo artist and with the Black Eyed Peas. On her stellar solo debut, The Dutchess, Fergies first single, London Bridge, made history as it bulleted its way up the Billboard Hot 100 chart, reaching the No. 1 spot in three short weeks, the second-highest jump ever recorded by Billboard. The follow-up record, Fergalicious, is already Top 3 and still climbing. Last week, as part of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie won the trifecta at the American Music Awards with wins for Best Group in both the rap/hip hop and soul/rhythm and blues categories, and their latest release, Monkey Business, was named favorite rap/hip-hop album.

Unlike most bands, RBD was created as part of a television show premise the main characters of the telenovela Rebelde formed a band, RBD, and their journey was chronicled through the shows 440 episodes over three seasons. How do Fergie and Josh Duhamel's keep their relationship strong? Fishing, cooking and karaoke.
"We always do quirky romantic things," Fergie, 31, told PEOPLE Saturday at the 5th Annual Cadillac Super Bowl Grand Prix, where the singer, Duhamel, 34, and other stars raced go-karts for charity in Miami.
"It's not just Valentine's Day. Like we went to Cabo San Lucas, and we took a cooking class and we went fishing for marlin and mahi mahi."
And she's not the only one who can belt out a tune. "We sing karaoke. At his house, he has a karaoke machine," she said.
"Sometimes we'll sing really corny duets together when a couple of our friends are over. He does 'Total Eclipse of the Heart,' which is amazing. You've never seen anything like it. He gets into it. He's pretty good. He's better than you would think!"
Duhamel, who is about to wrap the fourth season of NBC's Las Vegas, added that they've figured out how to avoid the pitfalls of a high-profile relationship.
"We just genuinely love each other," he said. "We stay out of the spotlight as much as we can. So many times people are too in the spotlight, which puts too much pressure on things."
That doesn't mean they don't pay attention to what the media is saying about them. Last week, Fergie denied reports that they were getting married. "We get a kick out of it," Fergie told PEOPLE. "Every other week, we hear we're engaged."
At the go-kart race, Duhamel, last year's defending champion, was excited about taking on Fergie, who was racing for the first time.
"I'm looking forward to beating my girlfriend," he said. "She's been talking smack all week. She wants a trophy of her own."
"I'm just hoping my natural abilities will come into fruition during the race," Fergie joked. "We get a little competitive sometimes. We had a lasagna cook-off one time and basically I was the better bluffer. He won the contest because mine ended up soggy."
Unfortunately for the "Fergalicious" singer, she was defeated in the first round of the three-round race, which also included Nick Lachey, Queen Latifah, Paul Rudd, Terrence Howard, Venus Williams, Melina Kanakaredes and quarterback Matt Leinart. Duhamel made it to the final round, along with Lachey and TV personalities Leann Tweedon and Tony Potts.
(Tweedon won the race – and a check for $10,000, which she donated to the charity Wounded Warrior. Lachey donated his $5,000 second place prize to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Potts gave his third-place prize of $2,000 to Haven Hills.)
Lachey was there without his girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel have already revealed they keep their romance hot with karaoke and fishing trips – and now you can add sexy dancing to that list.
"He just dances for me in private, in some very interesting outfits," the singer, 32, tells Playboy in its May issue. "He bought me these amazing boots at the Hustler store. They're thigh-high patent leather with a big long zipper. They're hard to get on, but it's worth it."
Does Fergie (real name: Stacy Ferguson) make Duhamel, 34, dance to her own music? "Make him? He wants to. He likes dancing. I slow dance with him, but I have to stand on his feet because I'm too short. He's 6'3" and I'm 5'4". Luckily I took ballet, so I know how to stand en pointe."
The couple have been dating since 2004, though they first met in Duhamel's subconscious. "I had read in a magazine that he had a naughty dream about me," Fergie says. "All my friends knew about him because he had been a soap-opera star. I'm not into soap operas, but they told me, 'You gotta go out with him. Do it for the group. Take one for the team.'
"Time went by, and I saw on the schedule that we were taping a show called Las Vegas, and I thought, Is this the show he's on? We met, and I said, 'I read you had a dream about me.' He said yeah, and I asked, 'Was it good?' He said it was. So we hit it off."

The former Black Eyed Peas singer also hit it off with audiences on her first solo effort, last year's The Duchess. "Next time I might do a reggae or hip-hop album," she says. "But for this album I wanted to get really personal with the audience."
Speaking of which, what about that 2005 photo from a San Diego concert in which it looks like she wet her pants onstage?
"Embarrassment," she says. "Everyone told me not to talk about it, but I wanted to call people and tell them what had happened. I was advised not to, and I didn't for a while. Now I'm just honest about it. It's embarrassing, but you just have to let it go at some point."

Jennifer Lopez, Fergie, Fall Out Boy and Usher will perform at the fourth annual Fashion Rocks concert celebrating the relationship between music and fashion.
The show, hosted by "Entourage" star Jeremy Piven, will be held Sept. 6 at Radio City Music Hall. It will air the following night in a two-hour special on CBS.
Fashion Rocks will be among the events during New York Fashion Week.
Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Ludacris, Martina McBride and Santana are also scheduled to appear.
"The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago," said Richard Beckman, president of Conde Nast Media Group, in a statement Wednesday. "Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians."
Fashion Rocks magazine will also return, with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour again at the helm. The magazine will accompany the September issue of 17 Conde Nast titles.

The Black Eyed Peas canceled a concert in San Salvador after Fergie fell ill. The daily newspaper La Prensa Grafica reported that some 10,000 people were at the concert Friday when the 32-year-old singer suddenly told the crowd she was sick. The show was canceled minutes later.
The band was in Mexico and Central America as part of their "Monkey Business" tour.
Two Show, the concert's organizer, said in a statement Monday that it plans to reschedule the concert sometime within the next three months. It also offered refunds to dissatisfied fans.
The statement didn't say why the show was canceled, and Two Show didn't return calls seeking comment.

It's definitely time for the Black Eyed Peas to invest in a private caterer.
The Grammy-winning rap outfit was forced to call off a gig in San Salvador midway through the show last Friday, after Fergie artist informed the crowd she had fallen ill from food poisoning—the same excuse proffered by band mate Taboo in Stockholm last month when the group was forced to suspend yet another tour stop.
"I am so sorry I can't give you the full show tonight," Fergie told the crowd of roughly 10,000 fans last week. "I am not one of those bitches who cancels their show for 'exhaustion,' okay?"
"I have never canceled a show in my life. I was basically sick on my death bed with food poisoning and I said, 'I cannot do the show, I can't do it. I'm not gonna do it to my fans and look like a jackass.'
"So, I got it together and I might not look pretty or cute or have makeup on or have changes, but you know what? I came here for you," she added, gesturing to the tracksuit, sunglasses and baseball cap she was sporting in lieu of her usual stage attire.
Fergie then launched into a brief a capella version of her solo hit, "Big Girls Don't Cry," before stopping to say she needed to get some fluids. Before exiting the stage, Fergie promised fans she would make up for her half-hearted performance by coming back to El Salvador and performing a free concert.
Moments after she ducked backstage, the crowd was informed that the concert was off.
The gig at San Salvador's Gimnasio Nacional was part of the group's Black, Blue and You tour of Mexico and Central America. In addition to the promised free concert by Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas' concert promoter, Two Show, announced that it will reschedule the concert for some time within the next three months, and that full refunds would be available to those who didn't want to try their chances at the follow-up gig.
By then, all the Peas should have a stockpile of Maalox.
The group nixed its Sept. 13 set in Stockholm about halfway through the show, when Fergie announced that Taboo had been taken to the emergency room. "We believe he has food poisoning," she said.
At the after-party, she told a reporter for the Swedish newspaper Expressen that Taboo was already out of the hospital, sleeping off the bug in their hotel room.

Hollyscoop Sightings
New York Fashion week is in full swing so naturally all the stars have flocked to the big city. While having lunch at Pastis we spotted a glowing Naomi Watts and her new baby boy strolling along with a friend. She's lost so much weight post-pregnancy we almost didn't recognize her.
Fergie was spotted at Macy's in New York for the launch of 'Fergie for Kipling' Handbag Collection.
We also spotted Monica Bellucci and Stavros Niarchos at Cipriani restaurant in SoHo. Monica was having lunch with a few girlfriends and Stavros was with a group of shaggy haired friends.
While at Mark Ronson's birthday bash at Love, we spotted DJ AM who was there with a male friend.

The Blah Dressed At Fashion Rocks
Somewhere between the best dressed and the worst dressed comes the 'Blah' category. It's when we know they're not the best nor the worst dressed but something is still wrong.
Fergie is the head of the 'Blah' squad. She never takes a chance on the carpet, she's always wearing a short black dress. This time around her dress was alright but everything else was w-r-o-n-g. She looked like she hadn't washed her hair in weeks and those bags under her eyes didn't do her any justice either.
Ashlee Simpson usually looks cute on the red carpet and this time wasn't really an exception. Her dress was really cute, but also kinda blah, it was too simple for a fashion event. Her hair was really bad though, again, she looked like she hadn't washed her hair or gotten her roots done in ages. Her extensions are horrible, she needs to fire Ken Paves. Her hair is like 3 different shades--definitely a 'no no' for the red carpet.
Last but not least we have Mischa Barton. I was a little torn with this one. Again, the dress was alright, but still kinda blah. Her hair was horrible. It looks like she clipped it up while waiting to get her makeup done and forgot to fix it afterward.
So what do all the 'Blah' girls have in common? BAD hair! So even if your dress is alright, get your damn hair done people! It's supposed to be a complete look, not half ass.

There are rumors that Fergie and Josh Duhamel have called it quits after 3 years.
A source told Star, "She's been on the road since spring- nothing takes precedence over her career, not even Josh. They still squeeze in time together here and there, but they're not together as often as they should be. They are finding their differences are too much to overcome."
Apparently, the "crazy sex" they used to have has faded as well. When do they even have sex if they don't even see each other? "She'll dress up in kinky clothes, like latex hot pants and push-up bras. When they have a fight, she has sex with him, and he forgets about it."
Something tells me that this might not be true. These two recently took their relationship to the next step as they bought a house together. Than again, maybe that's when they realized that it's not working.
2007 American Music Awards: Arrivals
The 2007 American Music Awards are currently underway in downtown Los Angeles at the new state of the art Nokia theater. Let's take a look at some of tonight’s red carpet beauties.
'Good Girl Gone Bad' Rihanna was on fire tonight with a black and silver revealing mini dress. Rihanna will be performing tonight with fellow favorite artist nominee Ne-Yo. Beyonce turned heads in a skintight gold satin dress. Beyonce is nominated for favorite female artist and will perform a song from her hit album 'Irreplaceable.'
R&B star Ashanti looked gorgeous in a yellow chiffon dress. Favorite pop female artist Avril Lavigne was a fashion disaster with a bronze satin strapless dress. Avril's shoes were all wrong for the dress and the pink hair needs to go.
Favorite female pop artist nominee Fergie played it safe with a black mini, while 'High School Musical' star Vanessa Hudgens looked absolutely fabulous in a gold sequined mini dress.

Fergie: Home for the Holidays
Fresh off her AMA win, singer Fergie talks to OK! magazine about her AMA experience and her Thanksgiving plans. Here are some highlights from the interview...
On winning her AMA:
“I was completely in shock because you know I’ve been in this business for a long time,” Fergie says backstage. “I was a little girl with big dreams and tonight one of those big dreams came true. So the moment it actually happens to you, you can’t plan how you’re going to feel. You can’t plan if you’re going to cry or if you’re going to be nervous, if you’re going to blank out."
On Thanksgiving:
"It’s so good to be home right now. I’m always touring. I’m always in some crazy country where I can’t always understand everybody. It’s Thanksgiving time. I’m home. I just won. It’s a nice time for me.”
On who is doing the cooking:
"Thanksgiving we’re having at our house. We’re having Chef Felix come and cook because I can’t cook," she reveals. "Come on. We’re going to have a great time."

Duhamel calls Fergie a `real total star'

"Las Vegas" hunk Josh Duhamel and his girlfriend, Fergie, are a match made in Hollywood heaven with hot looks to match their hot careers. But Fergie, who's been heating up the pop charts, is the flashier one.
"She's a real total star," Duhamel says in the July issue of Best Life magazine, on newsstands June 26. "I'm more subdued than that. I'd rather sneak up on people. But that's what makes us work. We have similar fundamental values. We both grew up in similar families. She's just got a great soul."
Duhamel, 35, and 32-year-old Fergie (real name: Stacy Ann Ferguson), who performs with the Black Eyed Peas and as a solo act, have been dating for nearly three years. The couple have no immediate plans to marry, according to Best Life, and recently bought a house together. A big house.
"A girl like Fergie comes with stuff — a lot of stuff," Duhamel says. "And there just wasn't enough room for the stuff."
Duhamel got his start on ABC's "All My Children" before graduating to prime time (NBC's "Las Vegas") and film ("Turistas," "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!"). He co-stars with Shia LaBeouf and Jon Voight in the Paramount Pictures action movie "Transformers," directed by Michael Bay, which opens July 3.
"There's still so much more I want to do," he says. "Before it was about gaining confidence. Now it's about gaining some respect for what I do. Get that, and everything you want will come along with it because people will want to work with you."
A few acts to follow: actors-turned-power players Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio.
"There are actors my age who are just incredible," says Duhamel, who studies the work of Matt Damon and Ryan Gosling. "They set the bar, and that's where I want to be."
The A-list competition helps sharpen his drive for success.
"It always feels like I have to prove myself to be more than what people think they see. That's part of what I'm fighting right now. People don't know what you're capable of until you actually do it."

Fergie lets intimate side show on debut

NEW YORK (AP) — In the basement of a trendy downtown hotel, Fergie sits waiting at the head of a large wooden table, scribbling notes on a yellow legal pad.
The sexy, spicy element of the Black Eyed Peas apologizes for wanting to meet in this stuffy, angular room rather than the trendy Asian restaurant first suggested.
"I just couldn't deal with a New York night out," she says.
She also apologizes for wearing a black Adidas track suit and knit cap — she's simply not up for glamour today. Her nails are scuffed and bitten. She apologizes for that, too.
It's a different image of a performer more often seen strutting her stuff in something small, expensive and tight, her hips wiggling, boasting about her "lovely lady lumps."
"Maybe I'll get on the table and dance," she says with a smile.
The 31-year-old is preoccupied these days with her solo debut CD "The Dutchess," an eclectic collection of 13 songs she hopes will prove she's more than just a pretty Pea.
Containing everything from torch songs ("All That I Got," "Finally") to bouncy pop ("Fergalicious," "Clumsy"), reggae ("Voodoo Doll") and even techno ("Glamorous"), the album has germinated for years and represents her wide musical influences.
"That is my truth and makes me who I am," says Fergie, born Stacy Ann Ferguson. "If I'd only done one style, that wouldn't have been a truthful representation of me."
Lyric-wise, "The Dutchess" — a riff on how her name is so close to Britain's Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson — offers a more introspective Fergie, a woman willing to talk about her loves, her critics and her former meth addiction.
"There are a lot of times when I really dig deep on this album, whereas with the guys, I don't know if there's enough of a platform to go into all of my drama or love affairs," she says.
"I think it's important to represent who I am in all facets," she adds. "That's why I've talked about my struggle with drugs. I don't want to talk about it all the time because it's not a part of my life any more but I'm not running from it."
Based on the success of the saucy first single "London Bridge," Fergie shouldn't stress. A late entry for song of the summer, it sat atop the Billboard singles chart for three weeks — not to mention all it did for Anglo-American relations.
"It was a huge landmark day for me. I was crying — happy crying — and running around the house calling everybody," she says when the song hit No. 1. "For it to finally happen and for the song to be successful, it's really rewarding."
The rest of the CD — co-written by Fergie and produced by Ron Fair, DJ Mormile and will.i.am, the Peas' lead lyricist — features samples from Little Richard, The Commodores and The Temptations. Guests include John Legend, Ludacris and Rita Marley.
"Once people get this album and hear what she's capable of as a singer and writer, I think that's when the roof blows off it," says Fair, chairman of Geffen Records. "That's when she's not just a little trifling pop girl doing disposable hits."
Fergie, raised in Whittier, Calif., may have seemed destined for that fate when she emerged at age 7 in the kiddie TV band Kids Incorporated, later graduating to the pop girl group Wild Orchid in the 1990s.
Wanting to make it on her own, she approached will.i.am with the hope of convincing him to help create a solo CD. She had seen the Peas live in 1998 — before they were multiplatinum sensations — and was an enormous fan.
She started off a kind of apprenticeship, adding her booming, soulful backing vocals to what would be the band's third album, "Elephunk," which had hits like "Where's the Love" and the Grammy Award-winning "Let's Get It Started." By the time will.i.am — together with bandmates Taboo and apl.de.ap — left for a tour of Australia in 2003, Fergie was their fourth member.
"I didn't plan to ever be in the band, but as things organically grew, and I started working with them for my solo album, there was some point where we made that decision," she says. "I just went with my gut."
Joining a tight hip-hop band that thrived onstage was more difficult than it seemed. Fergie held back at first until she could learn how to roll with the ad-libs and pick her spots.
There were also the catcalls and ire from long-term fans of the Peas who didn't like the band's blossoming mainstream popularity — blaming it, in part, on the newest blonde Pea.
"It does get painful sometimes," she says. "I actually really had to pep-talk myself so that I could overcome those fears. It's hard when someone's sitting there staring at you. Or even mad-dogging you.
"Now I just get in their face."
In 2005, the group's "Monkey Business" turned into another multiplatinum success thanks to "My Humps," "Pump It" and "Don't Phunk with My Heart," which won another Grammy.
Despite the Peas' triumphs since she came aboard, she's loathe to single out herself as the reason behind their success: "I think it has to do with us. I think we all are responsible for the success of these albums," she says. "It's a team effort."
But it's all about Fergie on "The Dutchess." On the new album, she mixes her vulnerable and fierce sides. "Would you love me/If I didn't work out/Or didn't change my natural hair?" she asks a lover in "All That I Got." On "London Bridge," she threatens to mace pushy photographers and boasts: "I'm such a lady, but I'm dancin' like a ho."
"It's poking fun at certain things. I'm really not going to spray the paparazzi with mace — I don't know if you know that about me," she says, smiling.
"I'm not a promiscuous girl — like I talk about in 'Clumsy,' I'm always the girl with the boyfriend in serious relationships — but I do like to play with my sexuality. I don't think that means I have to live in a morgue," she says (Fergie and "Las Vegas" hunk Josh Duhamel have been dating for some time).
Fergie thinks she'll be able to open up even more on the next Black Eyed Peas album — no, she insists, they're not breaking up — because her solo CD will let fans "get me and know who I am."
"Sometimes I feel like the underdog. But I like that because then more people will be surprised when they do see something that they like from me," she says. "I've learned that I can't please everybody."

Fergie had ample help from Peas producer and frontman will.i.am, who helmed the record and made it the first release from his new label. Still, she had a hand in writing all but one of the album's 13 songs.
Ludacris lends writing and rhyming to "Glamorous," a song about the bling lifestyle. "I still go to Taco Bell," Fergie sings. "I'm still real."
"Mary Jane Shoes," featuring Rita Marley, is a reggae jam to the tune of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry."
Fergie postures about her skills and sings along with The Temptations on "Here I Come," while "Fergalicious" is all about how hot she is. But she sounds sincere on the reflective, John Legend-produced "Finally."

The Black Eyed Peas' frontwoman has announced a release date for her hotly anticipated solo debut just as the album's first single, "London Bridge," climbs to the top of the Billboard charts.
Her lovely lady humps must be in quite the tizzy.
Fergie has announced plans to drop The Dutchess Sept. 19, marking not only her solo debut, but the first album released off fellow Pea Will.I.Am's record label--the aptly, if uninspired, named Will.I.Am Music Group.
While the songbird, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, has yet to address the story behind her album's title, it's been widely reported that it's a play on the nickname she shares with Sarah Ferguson, Britain's Duchess of York.
The fact that her debut single references the U.K. could either be a sly substantiation of the rumors or simply a coincidence.
In any case, while the album is billed as a solo effort that doesn't mean Fergie didn't get some help.
Will.I.Am, who produced most of the record's tracks, lends his voice to the album, as do Ludacris and Rita Marley.
And if the debut single's performance is any indication, the album is primed to be a success.
"London Bridge" ascended to the top of the Billboard singles charts this week, reaching number one on both the Hot 100 and Hot Digital Songs charts, as well as nabbing the top slot on the iTunes Top 100.
The track debuted July 17 at an unimpressive 84 on the Hot 100, only to make the jump to five in its second week. The leap marked the second biggest week-to-week jump in Hot 100 history, bested only by "Breaking Free," a track off the unstoppable High School Musical soundtrack.
Fergie is currently on tour with the Peas, who are spanning the globe in support of their multiplatinum 2005 album, Monkey Business.
The group's "My Humps" is also up for Best Hip-Hop Video at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 31.

"Las Vegas" hunk Josh Duhamel and his girlfriend, Fergie, are a match made in Hollywood heaven with hot looks to match their hot careers. But Fergie, who's been heating up the pop charts, is the flashier one.
"She's a real total star," Duhamel says in the July issue of Best Life magazine, on newsstands June 26. "I'm more subdued than that. I'd rather sneak up on people. But that's what makes us work. We have similar fundamental values. We both grew up in similar families. She's just got a great soul."
Duhamel, 35, and 32-year-old Fergie (real name: Stacy Ann Ferguson), who performs with the Black Eyed Peas and as a solo act, have been dating for nearly three years. The couple have no immediate plans to marry, according to Best Life, and recently bought a house together. A big house.
"A girl like Fergie comes with stuff — a lot of stuff," Duhamel says. "And there just wasn't enough room for the stuff."
Duhamel got his start on ABC's "All My Children" before graduating to prime time (NBC's "Las Vegas") and film ("Turistas," "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!"). He co-stars with Shia LaBeouf and Jon Voight in the Paramount Pictures action movie "Transformers," directed by Michael Bay, which opens July 3.
"There's still so much more I want to do," he says. "Before it was about gaining confidence. Now it's about gaining some respect for what I do. Get that, and everything you want will come along with it because people will want to work with you."
A few acts to follow: actors-turned-power players Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio.
"There are actors my age who are just incredible," says Duhamel, who studies the work of Matt Damon and Ryan Gosling. "They set the bar, and that's where I want to be."
The A-list competition helps sharpen his drive for success.
"It always feels like I have to prove myself to be more than what people think they see. That's part of what I'm fighting right now. People don't know what you're capable of until you actually do it."

NEW YORK (AP) — In the basement of a trendy downtown hotel, Fergie sits waiting at the head of a large wooden table, scribbling notes on a yellow legal pad.
The sexy, spicy element of the Black Eyed Peas apologizes for wanting to meet in this stuffy, angular room rather than the trendy Asian restaurant first suggested.
"I just couldn't deal with a New York night out," she says.
She also apologizes for wearing a black Adidas track suit and knit cap — she's simply not up for glamour today. Her nails are scuffed and bitten. She apologizes for that, too.
It's a different image of a performer more often seen strutting her stuff in something small, expensive and tight, her hips wiggling, boasting about her "lovely lady lumps."
"Maybe I'll get on the table and dance," she says with a smile.
The 31-year-old is preoccupied these days with her solo debut CD "The Dutchess," an eclectic collection of 13 songs she hopes will prove she's more than just a pretty Pea.
Containing everything from torch songs ("All That I Got," "Finally") to bouncy pop ("Fergalicious," "Clumsy"), reggae ("Voodoo Doll") and even techno ("Glamorous"), the album has germinated for years and represents her wide musical influences.

Fergie Felled by Food Poisoning

It's definitely time for the Black Eyed Peas to invest in a private caterer.
The Grammy-winning rap outfit was forced to call off a gig in San Salvador midway through the show last Friday, after Fergie artist informed the crowd she had fallen ill from food poisoning—the same excuse proffered by band mate Taboo in Stockholm last month when the group was forced to suspend yet another tour stop.
"I am so sorry I can't give you the full show tonight," Fergie told the crowd of roughly 10,000 fans last week. "I am not one of those bitches who cancels their show for 'exhaustion,' okay?"
"I have never canceled a show in my life. I was basically sick on my death bed with food poisoning and I said, 'I cannot do the show, I can't do it. I'm not gonna do it to my fans and look like a jackass.'
"So, I got it together and I might not look pretty or cute or have makeup on or have changes, but you know what? I came here for you," she added, gesturing to the tracksuit, sunglasses and baseball cap she was sporting in lieu of her usual stage attire.
Fergie then launched into a brief a capella version of her solo hit, "Big Girls Don't Cry," before stopping to say she needed to get some fluids. Before exiting the stage, Fergie promised fans she would make up for her half-hearted performance by coming back to El Salvador and performing a free concert.
Moments after she ducked backstage, the crowd was informed that the concert was off.
The gig at San Salvador's Gimnasio Nacional was part of the group's Black, Blue and You tour of Mexico and Central America. In addition to the promised free concert by Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas' concert promoter, Two Show, announced that it will reschedule the concert for some time within the next three months, and that full refunds would be available to those who didn't want to try their chances at the follow-up gig.
By then, all the Peas should have a stockpile of Maalox.
The group nixed its Sept. 13 set in Stockholm about halfway through the show, when Fergie announced that Taboo had been taken to the emergency room. "We believe he has food poisoning," she said.
At the after-party, she told a reporter for the Swedish newspaper Expressen that Taboo was already out of the hospital, sleeping off the bug in their hotel room.
Concert canceled after Fergie falls ill

The Black Eyed Peas canceled a concert in San Salvador after Fergie fell ill. The daily newspaper La Prensa Grafica reported that some 10,000 people were at the concert Friday when the 32-year-old singer suddenly told the crowd she was sick. The show was canceled minutes later.
The band was in Mexico and Central America as part of their "Monkey Business" tour.
Two Show, the concert's organizer, said in a statement Monday that it plans to reschedule the concert sometime within the next three months. It also offered refunds to dissatisfied fans.
The statement didn't say why the show was canceled, and Two Show didn't return calls seeking comment.

Jennifer Lopez, Fergie, Fall Out Boy and Usher will perform at the fourth annual Fashion Rocks concert celebrating the relationship between music and fashion.
The show, hosted by "Entourage" star Jeremy Piven, will be held Sept. 6 at Radio City Music Hall. It will air the following night in a two-hour special on CBS.
Fashion Rocks will be among the events during New York Fashion Week.
Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Ludacris, Martina McBride and Santana are also scheduled to appear.
"The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago," said Richard Beckman, president of Conde Nast Media Group, in a statement Wednesday. "Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians."
Fashion Rocks magazine will also return, with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour again at the helm. The magazine will accompany the September issue of 17 Conde Nast titles.

Fergie discusses drug nightmare in interview

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has admitted she was once so high on drugs she spent eight hours talking to a clothes hamper.
The singer's confession is published in July's edition of the fitness magazine Self.
An ex-crystal methamphetamine addict, Fergie reveals that she became so paranoid that she hid in the laundry basket.
She says: "I remember thinking somebody was inside of it, going to come and get me, so I was talking to the person who was crawling in the hamper."
The interview also delves into her experiences as a child actor and the extent of her additctions.
At one point, the singer estimates that she was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on the drug, and eating "maybe once every two days."
Now free from her dependency and with a highly successful solo career, she expresses hope that others can learn from her mistakes.
She adds: "Even when you feel like you're at your worst--because I went to that place, I went to hell and back--you can pick yourself up. You just have to make the right choices. Everything is a choice."

• Newlyweds Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery, stepping out for sushi at Hirozen Gourmet in Los Angeles. Outside the restaurant, the couple received congratulations from some nearby photographers and fans.
• Charlie Sheen, hanging courtside with his fiancée Brooke Mueller during a Los Angeles Clippers game at the Staples Center in L.A. And good news for them: the home team bested the New York Knicks, 84-81.
• After attending a private dinner at Green Door (thrown in her honor), Fergie spotted strolling into Bar Marmont in West Hollywood hand in hand with beau Josh Duhamel. The pair walked to the back of the bar and ordered drinks as the singer greeted some friends with a hug. Fergie took her glass of white wine – and her boyfriend – and retreated to the less-crowded patio section with her friends in tow. After some friendly chatter, the two pals departed, leaving Fergie and Duhamel alone for some quiet time together.
• Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari and her boyfriend Nick Zano, catching a movie together at The Grove in Los Angeles. Walking through the open-air mall, the couple held hands, looking just like twins in jeans and white T-Shirts. The casual pair made their way to the theater, giggling as they hit the line.

• Jennifer Connelly, taking in the Seventh on Sale gala and sample sale at the 26th Street Armory in New York along with hubby Paul Bettany. The fashion-forward couple – she sported an Oscar de la Renta gown – mingled at the star-studded event (Ashley Olsen, Kate Moss and Blake Lively were among the attendees), and Bettany confessed he was there for support, and not for shopping! "I always enjoy shopping," he drolly teased with us. "I live for it!"
• Tommy Lee, enjoying dinner with flame Kimberly Stewart – as well as her brother and father Rod Stewart– at Il Sole in West Hollywood. While it was a family dinner, the bad-boy rocker was getting pretty cozy with Stewart, a fellow diner reports. Later, the pair continued their night by partying at Hyde.

Fergie Felled by Food Poisoning

It's definitely time for the Black Eyed Peas to invest in a private caterer.
The Grammy-winning rap outfit was forced to call off a gig in San Salvador midway through the show last Friday, after Fergie artist informed the crowd she had fallen ill from food poisoning—the same excuse proffered by band mate Taboo in Stockholm last month when the group was forced to suspend yet another tour stop.
"I am so sorry I can't give you the full show tonight," Fergie told the crowd of roughly 10,000 fans last week. "I am not one of those bitches who cancels their show for 'exhaustion,' okay?"
"I have never canceled a show in my life. I was basically sick on my death bed with food poisoning and I said, 'I cannot do the show, I can't do it. I'm not gonna do it to my fans and look like a jackass.'
"So, I got it together and I might not look pretty or cute or have makeup on or have changes, but you know what? I came here for you," she added, gesturing to the tracksuit, sunglasses and baseball cap she was sporting in lieu of her usual stage attire.
Fergie then launched into a brief a capella version of her solo hit, "Big Girls Don't Cry," before stopping to say she needed to get some fluids. Before exiting the stage, Fergie promised fans she would make up for her half-hearted performance by coming back to El Salvador and performing a free concert.
Moments after she ducked backstage, the crowd was informed that the concert was off.
The gig at San Salvador's Gimnasio Nacional was part of the group's Black, Blue and You tour of Mexico and Central America. In addition to the promised free concert by Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas' concert promoter, Two Show, announced that it will reschedule the concert for some time within the next three months, and that full refunds would be available to those who didn't want to try their chances at the follow-up gig.
By then, all the Peas should have a stockpile of Maalox.
The group nixed its Sept. 13 set in Stockholm about halfway through the show, when Fergie announced that Taboo had been taken to the emergency room. "We believe he has food poisoning," she said.
At the after-party, she told a reporter for the Swedish newspaper Expressen that Taboo was already out of the hospital, sleeping off the bug in their hotel room.
Concert canceled after Fergie falls ill

The Black Eyed Peas canceled a concert in San Salvador after Fergie fell ill. The daily newspaper La Prensa Grafica reported that some 10,000 people were at the concert Friday when the 32-year-old singer suddenly told the crowd she was sick. The show was canceled minutes later.
The band was in Mexico and Central America as part of their "Monkey Business" tour.
Two Show, the concert's organizer, said in a statement Monday that it plans to reschedule the concert sometime within the next three months. It also offered refunds to dissatisfied fans.
The statement didn't say why the show was canceled, and Two Show didn't return calls seeking comment.
J.Lo, Fergie to perform at Fashion Rocks

Jennifer Lopez, Fergie, Fall Out Boy and Usher will perform at the fourth annual Fashion Rocks concert celebrating the relationship between music and fashion.
The show, hosted by "Entourage" star Jeremy Piven, will be held Sept. 6 at Radio City Music Hall. It will air the following night in a two-hour special on CBS.
Fashion Rocks will be among the events during New York Fashion Week.
Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Ludacris, Martina McBride and Santana are also scheduled to appear.
"The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago," said Richard Beckman, president of Conde Nast Media Group, in a statement Wednesday. "Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians."
Fashion Rocks magazine will also return, with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour again at the helm. The magazine will accompany the September issue of 17 Conde Nast titles.

Fergie discusses drug nightmare in interview

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has admitted she was once so high on drugs she spent eight hours talking to a clothes hamper.
The singer's confession is published in July's edition of the fitness magazine Self.
An ex-crystal methamphetamine addict, Fergie reveals that she became so paranoid that she hid in the laundry basket.
She says: "I remember thinking somebody was inside of it, going to come and get me, so I was talking to the person who was crawling in the hamper."
The interview also delves into her experiences as a child actor and the extent of her additctions.
At one point, the singer estimates that she was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on the drug, and eating "maybe once every two days."
Now free from her dependency and with a highly successful solo career, she expresses hope that others can learn from her mistakes.
She adds: "Even when you feel like you're at your worst--because I went to that place, I went to hell and back--you can pick yourself up. You just have to make the right choices. Everything is a choice."
